MSC Cruises, the world's third-largest cruise line, is pleased to announce the introduction of extended Caribbean sailings aboard MSC Poesia in Winter 2026-27, specifically tailored for Canadians looking to escape the chill of winter. With 10- and 11-night itineraries — and 14- and 21-night voyages — these cruises will take guests to some of the most sought-after Caribbean destinations.

Departures are conveniently scheduled between October 2026 and March 2027, offering Canadians the perfect opportunity to bask in warmth during the coldest months of the year. The thoughtfully curated itineraries include ports of call in:

  • Oranjestad, Aruba — A vibrant destination with year-round sunshine, white-sand beaches and historic landmarks.
  • Kralendijk, Bonaire — Renowned for its protected marine parks and a laid-back island vibe, Bonaire is a top spot for divers and nature lovers.
  • Willemstad, Curaçao — A lively city known for vibrant culture, excellent snorkelling, and charming architecture in the heart of the Southern Caribbean.
  • Puerto Limón, Costa Rica — The gateway to lush rainforests, exotic wildlife, and unforgettable adventure excursions in one of the most biodiverse places on earth.
  • Colón, Panama — Located just a short drive from the Panama Canal, Colón blends rich culture with a thriving port city atmosphere on the Caribbean coast.
  • Isla de Roatán, Honduras — Surrounded by the world’s second-largest barrier reef, this island is a haven for snorkellers and divers looking to explore vibrant coral ecosystems.
  • Cabo Rojo, Dominican Republic — Known for its stunning beaches, crystal-clear waters, and lively culture, Cabo Rojo offers the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure.
  • Cartagena, Colombia — A colourful city with cobbled streets, rich history, and a UNESCO-listed historic centre, offering a blend of culture and Caribbean charm.

“We are excited to offer Canadian travellers extended Caribbean itineraries for the Winter 2026-2027 season,” said Ian Patterson, Country Manager, MSC Cruises Canada. “Longer cruises have always held a strong appeal for Canadians looking for a winter getaway. These itineraries, coupled with MSC Cruises’ premium onboard experience, from specialty dining to world-class entertainment, offer a perfect fit for their travel style.”

Travellers can also elevate their vacation by booking the Aurea Experience — a guest favourite in Canada — which will offer even more perks starting July 1, 2025, including priority disembarkation, one complimentary minibar refresh, an in-suite Nespresso coffee machine, spa access, dining flexibility and more.

In addition to these longer voyages, MSC Cruises offers a wide selection of sailings to the Eastern and Western Caribbean and the Antilles, departing from Miami, New York, Port Canaveral, Galveston, Fort-de-France, Pointe-à-Pitre and Bridgetown. Many of these itineraries include a visit to Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve — MSC Cruises’ private island in the Bahamas – a highlight of every Caribbean journey and popular amongst guests.
