Princess Cruises Rolls Out Fleetwide Dining Revolution

The world’s most iconic cruise brand (thanks to the Love Boat fame), Princess Cruises, is making significant enhancements to its main dining options by offering three different service options on all its ships, starting with September 14th departures. Each of the three new dining options – Traditional, Reservable, or Walk-In Anytime - will be available on different floors or areas of the main dining rooms. Under Traditional dining, guests will continue to have the option of choosing an early or late dinner seating for every evening of their cruise. This choice ensures them the same time, table and waiter each night if that is what they enjoy.  There will also be two other options, a Reservable one, where guests may make reservations for a particular night, using the Princess app or Walk-in Anytime option, allowing them to enjoy dinner at any available time and table size of their choosing.  

These flexible service options ensure that your dining preferences are effortlessly accommodated and at the same time integrated with the line’s unparalleled OceanNow delivery, which provides the convenience of ordering anything, anytime via the app, and receiving it anywhere onboard, making Princess uniquely positioned to accommodate all guest dining preferences. Guests with the Princess Plus and Princess Premier packages enjoy OceanNow and room service delivery with no charge. Sit back, relax and enjoy not having to stand in line or deal with crowds.​ 

Beginning June 17th, booked guests can use the cruise line's app ahead of their cruise to reserve traditional seating, or opt for making nightly reservations and walking in at any time. This change does not affect guests booked in specialty restaurants or suite or Reserve Collection accommodations, who enjoy a dedicated dining room, where no reservations are required.
 Princess Cruises’ new dining concept came with the stunning introduction of the new next level “Love Boat”, Sun Princess, the largest ship in the fleet. Along with her three new main dining options, the ship brings you a world of culinary wonders, with more than 30 new and signature dining and lounge options. Your on board gourmet experiences range from Umai Teppanyaki, and O'Malley's Irish Pub to seafood nirvana at The Catch by Rudi from Princess Head of Culinary Arts, Chef Rudi Sodamin. Princess has also teamed with world-renowned artist Romero Britto to create Love by Britto, an artistic-inspired specialty dining featuring an astonishing seven-course meal. In addition, there is The Butcher’s Block by Dario, a collaboration with Dario Cecchini, the “world’s most famous butcher,” that features a family-style table offering a carnivore’s paradise of Cecchini’s signature cuts. Meanwhile, The Promenade on Deck 7 offers outdoor seating and serves up pizza, gourmet burgers, hot dogs, freshly baked bagels, and a tempting selection of ice cream. Of course, timeless favourites remain a staple, from Crown Grill steakhouse to Sabatini's Italian Trattoria and so much more.
