Atlas Ocean Voyages has announced that “Top Chef Brazil” winner Luciana Berry will be a featured “Gastronomic Guest” this spring aboard its World Navigator on two Epicurean Expeditions, departing May 14 and 21. Chef Berry is a contestant on the new show “Top Chef Champion of Champions,” which airs on the Bravo network.
Atlas’ tantalizing new Epicurean Expeditions have been carefully planned for guests who appreciate food and wine. From April through October 2023, guests can immerse themselves in the gastronomy of European ports on culinary shore excursions and learn from guest chefs and sommeliers who will be on board to enrich the experience. Guest chefs will also accompany the line’s complimentary culinary-focused “Cultural Immersion” tours.
Originally from Salvador de Bahia, Brazil, Berry – who is the winner of the second season of “Top Chef Brazil” in 2020 – moved to London in 2004 to attend college. While at school, she shared her favourite Brazilian dishes with her classmates, which fueled her passion for cooking.
When not competing in television cooking competitions, Berry runs her own catering company, Catering on the Hill, and a cooking sauce brand: BerryBartt. She also serves as an ambassador of Brazilian cuisine in Europe, showcasing the exotic ingredients that are integral to Brazilian cuisine and teaching the next generation of chefs at both West London College and Langley College. Berry is also a contributor to Bossa Brazil magazine, based in the UK.
